This Christmas bring your posse of friends or your office party to our Disco Crimbo at the Broadway Theatre and get ready to celebrate Christmas somewhere slap bang in the middle of the 1970s and 1980s. Let’s call that time December 1979, and the place to be is most definitely Catford!

Learn how to make some pickles for the festive season with our wonderful local foodie, Big Gay Al. Using fresh tasty vegetables your pickles will not only look good but taste amazing. Plus you can adapt them depending on your preference for herbs and spices.
Retro Christmas Decorations - Making Workshop by We Do Good (Retro) Disco
Join us on 24th November for a fun crafty session of making Christmas decorations just like we used to do in the good old days (we mean in the 70's and 80's - ie. not minimal and tasteful!).
This is a workshop which is part of our next event The Retro Catford Crimbo Party (which takes place the week afterwards, on the evening of 1st December, at the same venue The Broadway Theatre, Catford SE6).
We will make old school paper chains and snowflakes, and maybe even our own Christmas crackers. We need YOUR help creating the cheesiest jokes to go inside them.
Ability level will be easy!
We *may* be a bit too early to have Christmas tunes playing - but we will have coffee and mince pies and the atmosphere will be jolly so feel free to dig out your Christmas jumper...
This is a FREE event but we will be asking for donation of £5-£10 per person towards materials and refreshments. For this, you will get to take home some very fancy home made creations, as well as enjoy a very fun afternoon with us!

Good Food are hosting an evening event to launch their Christmas Range including a selection of The Big Gay Al marmalades. Free glass of mulled wine and a mince pie while you shop, and an exclusive 10% discount on the evening.
We Do Good Disco and The Big Gay Al Presents - Abigail's Party
The first collaboration between The Big Gay Al and We Do Good Disco brings you an evening dedicated to the tense, camp, funny TV play 'Abigail's Party'. Starting the evening with cocktails and specially 70's themed canapés, followed by a screening of this TV classic and ending in a wonderful slice of 70's camp disco. Kaftans optional.

The Big Gay Al and Wildcat Wilderness are collaborating for their first really wild pop up supper club. An intimate three course dinner and cocktail in the Wilderness with an emphasis on seasonal and sustainable food. Very limited tickets will be released with all the profits going directly to The Wildcat Wilderness - a Rushey Green Time Bank project. Further details to follow.

Hither Green Festival 2018 - World Food & Craft Fair
It’s the 10th year of the Hither Green Festival and we’re inviting Hither Green to join at The Bandstand this year for more fab stalls than ever and more live music. I will be there selling some of my award winning Marmalades including the popular Scottish Red Marmalade with Raspberries and Scotch Whisky and a 2018 exclusive to celebrate this years Royal Wedding.
